Founded in 2004, our firm provides professional environmental consulting services for local governments, engineers, developers and builders, and small property owners throughout Florida. Serving all of Central and Southwest Florida, our firm is headquartered in Charlotte County with a branch office in Manatee County.

The Ecology Group, Inc. has quickly gained a reputation for providing high quality yet economical natural resources management and environmental consulting services. Services provided range from simple wetland delineations to complex stated and federal permitting for large scale development.

With over 50 years of combined experience, our team of knowledgeable professionals has the necessary credentials, expertise and creative thinking to provide clients with the information, strategies and services to deliver successful projects ontime and within budget. We are focused on and responsive to clients’ needs and strive to simplify and expedite regulatory processes while balancing the needs of our unique and fragile environment.

The Ecology Group works closely with select civil, electrical and structural engineers, architects, landscape architects, surveyors, contractors and other professionals to create the best team of experts for projects.

Based on our commitment to high ethical standards as well as experience, our staff has received several of the highest certifications in the environmental field including Professional Wetland Scientist, Certified Ecologist, Florida Qualified Stormwater Inspector, Florida Master Naturalist and FWC Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent.

The Ecology Group is certified as a Minority Business Enterprise by the State of Florida, City of Tampa and other entities, and a certified Small Business Enterprise with the South Florida Water Management District.
